The Student and Educator Report provides information to the public about students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch; student attendance and suspensions; and school/district average class size, staff counts, and teacher attendance and turnover.
Due to COVID-19 and changes to the reporting of student and educator data requirements, data are as reported by schools and districts to the Department through the Student Information Repository System (SIRS) and should not be used to make comparisons across years or between schools, districts, or regions, as pandemic impact varied greatly.
Due to the pandemic related nationwide federal waivers to provide free school meals to all children during the 2020-2021 school year, schools were not required to collect or report student free and reduced price lunch eligibility. Therefore, these data may not accurately reflect actual counts of free and reduced price lunch eligibility or participation.
